A slew of famous faces will appear on Lifetime's "Drop Dead Diva" when it returns next month, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. Five new episodes are set to air at 9 p.m. Sundays, starting with the Oct. 6 fall premiere.

Among the guest stars rounding out season five are:

Illeana Douglas
Peri Gilpin
Richard Kind
Jaleel White
Doug Savant

The new episodes will also feature returning guests:

Sharon Lawrence, who plays Deb's mom
Faith Prince, who plays Jane's (Brooke Elliott) mom
Nancy Grace, as herself
Natalie Hall as Britney, whose body old Jane has taken over
Annie Ilonzeh as Nicole, Grayson's (Jackson Hurst) love interest
Jason Kennedy
Wallace "Wally" Langham

Sunday's episode finds Jane defending a former socialite, but her tactics put the firm in financial jeopardy. Meanwhile, Owen (Lex Medlin) and Stacy (April Bowlby) explore impending parenthood after Owen agrees to be her sperm donor.

As the season continues, Grayson’s relationship with Nicole develops further as Paul (Justin Deeley) makes a play to convince Jane to move on and begin dating again. Margaret Cho and Kate Levering also star in the series, which this season will feature the most "shocking" finale in "Drop Dead Diva" history, according to Lifetime.

"Drop Dead Diva", from Sony Pictures Television, returns at 9 p.m. Sunday, followed by the debut of new drama "Witches of East End" at 10 p.m.

Select members of the cast and crew -- including creator/executive producer Josh Berman, Hurst, Bowlby, Levering, Deeley and Medlin -- will take part in a live Facebook chat at 8:30 p.m. ET on Oct. 13.
