Ya'll remember the 80's action tv show Street Hawk about a white guy that had a fast motorcycle that was faster than a normal motorcycle and he would go after criminals? I don't know if the white guy was a cop. His real name is Rex Smith I think but I don't know what his character's name was. I just looked on Amazon.com to see if they had it and they do. So I put it on my list of things I wanna buy from Amazon. I haven't seen this show since I was a kid and I loved it back in the day. This show was kinda similar to Knight Rider.

What does Rex Smith being white have to do with anything? Not only that but you reminded us about it a second time. Once is often and twice is endless.

His character's name is Jesse Mach and yes, I'm aware of this. I've heard many good things about this short-lived scifi series and if I ever had the money to spare, I wouldn't mind watching "Street Hawk" and maybe getting it on DVD- but I just haven't really had the time or money to worry about it. Yes, it was definitely inspired by Knight Rider in some ways- and yes, it's definitely a cool 1980s show.:)
For fans of the show, check out www.streethawkonline.com - a great fan site for the series. (Of course, since it was such a short-lived show [13 episodes, 1 season in 1985], this is about one of the few fan sites I've seen- but there is actually a fairly good-sized fan base out there from what I can tell.)

It actually came out on DVD around 2009 I think, I have it and the theme by Tangerine Dream is so effin' awesome, also look for a really young George Clooney as Jesse's old friend.
