what would it be?

I would like to learn how to play piano, electric and acoustic guitar

Piano, although I already play it...it reminds me too much of typing. HAHA!

I'd LOVE to play the piano really well... I can only do a little on it. But instead I'm a flute player. Used to play clarinet

Well I did play the trumpet in band and occasionally still play it and I love it. I did take paino lessons but I quite when my teacher moved and I wish I wouldn't of because I could of became a good paino player both of my parents are great paino players. I really wanted to learn the play the drums, my dad did by us a set at a garage sale but they were pretty old and I was playing the trumpet in band and so it was kind of hard to play both the drums and trumpet in band.

Well, when I was in 6th grade, I learned to play piano, but on a keyboard. Then one day, my piano teacher left and never came back! Serious!!! :( It's okay though. Whenever I see a piano or keyboard, i sometimes still feel like showing off my playing skills, even though I only know like three songs! :)

I would like to learn how to play the piano or a guitar.

I play the trumpet now. If I had to pick what I would like to play.....Icouldn't tell ya! I don't know.:rolleyes:

Fiddle (violin), banjo, guitar. I play harmonica, mostly bluegrass and old time country.On the harmonica I like play the melody ofa tune or I'll play it like the fiddle part of a tune.

I'd really like to be able to play guitar, I took lessons for 2 years when I was in about 6th grade and by the end of it I could only play Jingle Bells and do a few chords!
It's really hard.

Well, i used to take piano lessons but i stopped when my teacher moved to Fresno. i didn't care for it much, it always made me so frustrated. i'd love to learn the guitar.

I'm not particularly musical but I play bass guitar. I've been playing since I was about 14. I thought it'd make me seem more attractive and perhaps give me something to talk about should I ever find myself in the position to chat somebody up. It hasn't worked so far though. I can't think why.... :confused: :crazy:

Ya know, musical instruments come and go, but for my money, nothing beats the bassoon, one of the unsung heroes of the woodwind family.
I just wish Mother and Father let me pursue my childhood dream of becomming a world class bassoonist.

Well, I play violin, but I have no idea what I'd play...prolly flute lol i have no idea why but that seems so funny to me

well i can already play guitar. i guess id like to maybe learn some bass guitar. im sure its not that different from regular guitar.

The Drums.

I used to play the acoutic guitar, waaaay back when, but was never especially grand at it. It's been so long though that I can't do much with it anymore.

I'd love to be able to play the piano.

Well I play an old fashion hillbilly guitar. :guitar: If I had my choice I would take piano lessons and I would love to play the Violin because I love that beautiful soothing instrument. :music: :music: :music:

I play bass clarinet... its like a clarinet except its bigger and lower. I likes it... but I reeeeeally want to play either the cello, contrabass clarinet, or bassoon. LOLLLLLLLLLLLL

Hey, I was wondering, what's the diff between a contrabass and a bass? I played the B flat clarinet...and what type of instructional books did you use?

I learned at skewl... if you wanna learn its the exactly the same as the regulare B flat Clarinet. And um... a controbass clarinet is like a reeeeeeally big clarinet and its reeeeeeally low sounding, its really cool :D

I play the flute. If I didn't play the flute I would be playing the drums...but...*shrugs*

You should definately take up playing bass, Cokies. I've been playing for 6 years and it's probably the only hobby that I've ever started that I didn't get bored with a few months down the line! :lol:
Be warned however - people seem to think that playing bass is easy and you'll get loads of morons going "Oh, even I could play that. Why don't you learn to play a proper guitar?" In response to this I always point out that it takes more skill to play bass at a decent level than it is to chug away on a rhythm guitar for hours. You'll soon get bored telling people this :sleep2:

It's good to know you didn't get bored with it, and of course, I'll take the "moron" factor into account. Actually, I'm pretty lucky, because a lot of my peers are musically inclined, so they've been helping me out with the basics in the recent weeks.

Oh, and believe me, I tried the guitar when I was in middle school, and I didn't stick with it. Which I regret to an extent. But now, the bass is something I want to learn and stick with.

That Fender Jazz is VERY nice. Must of cost you a lot...
I'm probably going to get a Squier P-Bass. It's cheap, so it'll do for now of course.

Yeah, you could do a lot worse than a Squier. They won't blow a hole in your savings but they're still built really well. My Fender was pretty expensive.........and then I bought a bigger amp which was pretty pricey too. But it's something I'm serious about so I think the expense is justified.

I know what you mean, about joining a band. After this year, I have a year of school left all together. So, yes, I will definitely try to put something together before I graduate. Another plus, is that at my school, there are guitar classes for beginners to advanced, so I could always pluck a guitar player out of there. Mind you, every talented guitar player in my town is already in a band. Same with every other instrumentalist.
It might be naive, but I want to jump right into this whole music thing and make something of it.

And yes, basses and guitars can be very sexy.

I would love to be able to play the FLUTE good like Jethro Tull does!!

Ya dont really hear the flute in many songs so when they come on and start blowing it,it makes me wanna try myself!!
