Everybody Hates Chris is an American sitcom. It is inspired by the teenage experiences of comedian Chris Rock (who narrates the show), while growing up in the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York in the early-mid 1980s. The title of the show parodies the CBS show Everybody Loves Raymond. Rock stated "Everybody Loves Raymond but everybody hates Chris!"

It was a great sitcom from beginning to end. There were no major cast changes and the storyline was consistent.

The only thing I think a lot of people didn't like was the cliffhanger in the Series Finale. Even then, it wasn't the worst finale nor the worst cliffhanger (see The Sopranos).
