About that Harvey "Two-Face" Dent villain, why did they made that character into a Michael "The Godfather" Corleone type of character for no reason at all?

They both scream like hell to me, IMO. Any comments?

Harvey Dent lost the love of his life, became severely disfigured, and was angry at the uncontrollable actions of Gotham's criminals.

When I heard that the Harvey Dent character was going to be introduced, I figured they'd establish his character and have him become Two-Face towards the end of the film, setting him up as the villain for the third movie.

I was disappointed when the character was killed off. I felt like the character of Two-Face got short shrift and he could have been a great villain for DK3.

And what's up with Tootsie being like Michael Corleone?

Same here it would have been perfect.

The only portrayal of Two Face in the movies prior to TDK was the clownish, buffoonish version with Tommy Lee Jones in Batman Forever.

In the comics, Two-Face has often been a great psychological character and it would have been nice to see that character be the villain for an entire movie.

Oh well, maybe in the next reboot.

But not too much of Michael "Godfather" Corleone type of character!
