Hogan's Heroes is an American television situation comedy that ran for 168 episodes from September 17, 1965, to July 4, 1971, on the CBS network. Starring Bob Crane as Colonel Robert E. Hogan, the show was set in a German prisoner of war (POW) camp during the Second World War. The program featured Werner Klemperer as the commandant of the camp, Colonel Klink, and John Banner as the portly inept sergeant-of-the-guard, Schultz, as well as a crew of Allied prisoners who assisted Hogan in running a Resistance group from the camp. Hogan's Heroes was produced by Bing Crosby Productions.

I think it was still a good show after they brought in Fake Kinch, but I wish Ivan Dixon had stayed. It never jumped, in my opinion.

Same Character Different Actor - Ivan Dixon
Only Ivan Dixon played Kinch, Kenneth Washington played Baker in the final season. I also wish Ivan Dixon had stayed. I like all six seasons.

I'm still trying to get into this show. Very different from the typical sitcom norm of the 60's.
