Happy Days ran for eleven seasons on ABC.
Technically the longest running program on ABC is Monday night football with over thirty seasons.

I believe Paramount pictures owns the rights to Happy Days, but I could be wrong, ABC could still own it.

ABC NEVER owned the show. They only give the shows budgets to work on, maybe not even that. ABC pays for the episdoes they air, Paramount has always owned "HAppy Days" since the day it was filmed.

And like TJL said, "Monday Night Football" is the longest running program. "Happy Days' was the longest running sitcom I think though on ABC.

I've been doing some reading on the subject, and I think Happy Days might have been the last sitcom to reach ten+ seasons on ABC.
ABC better get on the ball and make some better shows, if they ever want to beat this record.
I'm still convinved ABC had other sitcoms that lasted longer.

ABC's "The Adventures of Ozzie & Harriet" ran 14 years (1952-1966).

Three's Company, Mork & Mindy, Odd Couple, Laverne & Shirley, Leave it to Beaver, Donna Reed Show, Bewitched, and My Three Sons all had very respectable runs on ABC.

Bingo!
I knew ABC had others. That's been driving me nuts.
Thanks CCF2.
