I love this scene so much and would have been great to end it all with them going to Arnold's one last time as friends

View Full Version : How many agree that this scene should have ended the happy days series? TVFactFan 09-23-2013, 07:28 PM We should put it to a poll, but I agree, that's a great scene. It sure is, I enjoyed seeing them back together again after being away from each other 4 years treky 09-24-2013, 01:56 AM how come Arnolds looked different in that scene and why did Richie have a moustache? visaman666 09-24-2013, 03:16 AM Chachi burned Arnold's down. The reason for Ritchie's 'stash? It was the swinging 60's, man! Groovy! treky 09-24-2013, 03:26 AM who was Chaci? DJM77 09-24-2013, 05:48 AM who was Chachi? Did you ever watch a Happy Days episode past season 4? Chachi was Fonzie's cousin who ended up marrying Joanie. TVFactFan 09-24-2013, 09:00 PM who was Chaci? That question by you should have you banned from ever posting on the Happy days board again treky 09-24-2013, 11:37 PM That question by you should have you banned from ever posting on the Happy days board again ok, ok-I was purposely being ignorant about the show cause I was bored. I know who Chaci was, why Arnolds was different in that scene, etc.  I watched it sometimes after season 1 (when it was set in the 50s-after that, even though they said it was; it was actually the 50s dipped in the 70s/early 80s) but not much though. The CORE-4, the basic root of the show back to when and how it all began in 1974. Ending the show with Joannie marries Chiachi I could do with out. Yes, the gang was at the wedding but still it was not needed. Although I did like Mr. C speech was a nice touch so not all bad I suppose? TVFactFan 05-19-2014, 07:52 PM That scene should have ended Happy Days Yup, should have been the end JH23 05-29-2014, 02:00 AM Having just recently watched the series the scene that should've ended the series did end the series (in Chronological order). Tom Bosley breaking the 4th wall during his speech after Joanie and Chachi's wedding. Seeing as the show finished 30 years ago I have no reason to have wanted the show to end after 7 seasons. If you were around at that time then you'd probably wish the show didn't get renewed each of the post-Ron Howard years but in this century having only just watched the series I have an opinion that watching more of the Fonz isn't a bad thing. The dynamic might have changed but I'll buy any season that comes out on DVD. mets82 05-29-2014, 03:49 PM I dont know how I feel about it. You know, you could make the argument that if the show was to follow Richie then maybe end it when he left the series. I could see maybe a spin off show or reunions and whatnot but I like I've said before, the show wasnt the same after Richie left. The Fonz, who I love, did a great job, but it wasnt the same. faraj 05-29-2014, 03:50 PM ok, ok-I was purposely being ignorant about the show cause I was bored. It's OK. Understandable. Race's Girl 07-07-2014, 06:44 AM It should have ended in either 1980 or 1981 before Flip and KC joined and screwed the show up |
