NBC Developing a Johnny Carson Mini-Series

Johnny Carson is coming back to NBC. The Peacock is developing a mini-series based on the life of the legendary "Tonight Show" host, the network announced Thursday.
The show will cover Carson's 30-year run at the "Tonight Show", as well as his childhood in Nebraska and his life off-camera. It will be based on the upcoming Bill Zehme biography, Carson the Magnificent: An Intimate Portrait, and will be executive-produced by Zehme and John Davies.
Casting announcements have not been made.
