Vin Diesel in Fast and Furious 7: First Look

Vin Diesel‘s been known to skirt traditional PR channels to share intel direct to his fans. This weekend he gave his 47M Facebook followers first looks from the set of Universal‘s Fast and Furious 7, in production under Insidious 2 helmer James Wan.

“Seven… Has begun…” he posted in a pic showing him with co-star Paul Walker.

Universal releases Fast and Furious 7 on July 11, 2014.

Oh lord not another one hahahahahahahahahahahahaha. I don't know why i'm saying that because i'm gonna see it LOL. I really hope this is the last one. Vin Diesel and Paul Walker need to do some other action movies and i don't know why they won't do that. I don't know why Vin did another Riddick movie because nobody wants to see that crap. Paul Walker's recent straight to video movie Vehicle 19 sucked. He has another recent straight to video movie with Matt Dillon that i forgot the name of but i might check it out. JamesG, do you know if Tyrese, Ludacris, Jordana Brewster, Michelle Rodriguez, The Rock are returning for the new sequel?

Deadline has announced that The Fast and The Furious: Tokyo Drift's Lucas Black is coming back for Part 7.

The article says that Black will be a regular in the next 3 installments, which will bring The Fast and Furious franchise to 10 films.

Well i was right about Friday The 13th because there's 10 sequels hahahaha. Nightmare On Elm Street has 9 sequels LOL. I didn't see Police Academy 7. When Steve Guttenberg stopped doing Police Academy sequels, they became boring. I liked his character Mahoney and part 4 was the last one he did. I think part 4 is the best one. Steve always got him a cute woman because Kim Cattrall was in the first one and Sharon Stone was in the 4th one. Michael Winslow who was the black guy that made noises with his mouth was also good. The Blondie film franchise (based on the Dagwood and Blondie comic strips) have 28 films.

The 24th James Bond movie is going into production.

The Witchcraft franchise has 13 films.

For the same reason he's doing the Fast & Furious franchise. The money. And plenty of people want to see that "crap" as it's gone over very well, and from people I've talked to who have seen it they've liked as much as the previous installments.

Wow there's 12 Star Trek sequels. What about Star Wars sequels? Superman is my favorite outta the Superfriends characters. I used to watch Superfriends cartoon. I might check out Superman movies part 3 and part 4. I think I saw the first one with Christopher Reeve. I don't remember seeing part 2. How did Christopher Reeve die and how long has he been dead? I remember he was in a wheelchair because he became paralyzed from falling off a horse I think. Am I right?

There's currently 6 Star Wars films; 3 in the original trilogy and 3 in the prequel trilogy.

Disney is currently working on another trilogy and there's word of some characters getting their own spin-offs.



Reeve became paralyzed from a spinal-cord injury in May 1995 after being thrown from a horse during a competition.

He died from a heart attack in 2004.

Kurt Russell Joins the Cast of Fast & Furious 7

Kurt Russell is getting Fast & Furious. The 62-year-old actor, well-known for his roles in Big Trouble in Little China and Backdraft, will appear in the seventh installment of the Fast & Furious car racing franchise.

"Kurt Russell, such an honor to work with," star Vin Diesel wrote on his Facebook page, along with a photo of himself, Russell and co-star Paul Walker.

Details on his role were not released.


Fast & Furious 7 will hit theaters July 2014.

John Brotherton Joins Fast & Furious 7

Sources tell Deadline that John Brotherton, whose credits include The Conjuring, "Jane by Design" and "One Life To Live", will play Sheppard, who’s described as Kurt Russell's right-hand man.

James Wan’s Fast & Furious 7 is currently shooting in Atlanta.

Never heard of him. Kurt Russell is gonna be in this? I didn't know he was 62. I liked Kurt in Unlawful Entry with Ray Liotta and Madeline Stowe. Have you seen that JamesG? I know you saw him in Tango And Cash with Sylvester Stallone and Teri Hatcher. I also liked his Death Proof movie with Vanessa Ferlito and Sydney Tamia Poitier(hot women). I also saw him in Tequila Sunrise with Mel Gibson and Michelle Pfeiffer. The movie wasn't that good but I love Michelle and I like looking at her because she was hot back in the day. The sex scene between her and Mel was nice.


What's really sad about Vin Diesel is that he could've been a big action star but for whatever odd reason, he'd rather do nothing else but Fast and The Furious sequels because I guess he figures that's his bread and butter and he's made a lot of money doing them. XXX movie was alright and I liked A Man Apart with Larenz Tate. Those are the only other action movies he's done besides Fast and The Furious sequels. Paul Walker is also a disappointment because he's good at doing action movies even though he hasn't done a lot of them. I liked him in Running Scared and Bobby Z with Larry Fishburne and Olivia Wilde. Joy Ride movie is also good even though it's not action. It's more of a drama/horror movie.

There's 14 films in the Filipino horror franchise- Shake, Rattle & Roll.

Paul Walker, an integral part of the The Fast and the Furious franchise, was unfortunately killed in car crash on November 30, 2013 while he was taking part in a charity event.

Because of this, Universal Pictures decided to indefinitely postpone production on Fast and Furious 7.

Universal Sets Fast & Furious 7 Release for April 2015

After postponing the July 2014 release of Fast & Furious 7 following the tragic death of cast member Paul Walker, Universal has pushed the sequel’s debut by nearly a year to April 10, 2015.

Vin Diesel first announced the release update on his official Facebook account Sunday evening along with a new photo of himself and Walker in character. “The last scene we filmed together,” he wrote.

“There was a unique sense of completion, of pride we shared… in the film we were now completing… the magic captured… and, in just how far we’ve come… Fast and Furious 7 will be released… April 10th 2015! P.s. He’d want you to know first…”

Ignorant is right. Thank you, Isiah. I thought that "friend" of his had drugs and alcohol in his system, but as it turned out in a recent autopsy report, he did not.

The last thing I heard is that James Wan (director) said that the character Brian O'Conner is going to be "retired" and not killed off.

And by "retire" the character, you mean "have the character simply disappear without an (on-screen) explanation"?

The seventh installment of the "Fast & Furious" franchise resumed production last Thursday after it was halted following Paul Walker's death last November.

They have hired four stunt doubles similar-looking to Mr. Walker who will be used for movement and as a base. Also, Mr. Walker's face and voice will be re-created using CGI and vocal effects. At the time of the tragedy, production of Fast & Furious 7 was nearly at the halfway mark and Walker's performance in the film was left unfinished.

It has been announced via the film series's official Facebook page that Paul Walker's brothers, Caleb and Cody, will help complete Paul walker's action scenes in the upcoming Fast & Furious 7. It is stated in the note that Paul Walker had already completed his "dramatic" work on F&F7 before his tragic car crash last November.

I didn't know Paul has some brothers. He only has 2 brothers? Paul has a new movie coming out next weekend called Brick Mansions with rapper The RZA of Wu Tang Clan. I'm gonna check it out. I'm surprised it's PG-13 because it looks like it should be R. There's a lot of action in it.
