treky 09-18-2013, 01:44 AM MASH-Trick or Treatment (I think that's the name-it's the one where George Wednt plays a marine with a pool ball stuck in his mouth)
andress_jade 09-18-2013, 05:01 PM There are some great Frasier Halloween episodes as well.
One is simply titled Halloween. Roz finds out she's pregnant at a party thrown at Niles' apartment where everyone is dressed as a character from literature. Niles was Cyrano De Bergerac, Roz was O from O, Daphne was the Wife of Bath, Bulldog was Waldo from Where's Waldo?, Martin was Sherlock Holmes, but I forgot who Frasier was supposed to be.
Another one is called Room Full of Heroes. Everyone is at Frasier's apartment and they are all dressed as their favorite person, ie. their "hero". Frasier was dressed as Dr. Sigmund Freud, Daphne was Elton John, Roz was Wonder Woman, Martin was Joe DiMaggio, and Niles was his dad, Martin.
The last one is called Tales From the Crypt. Bulldog plays a prank on Frasier by pretending to wreck his BMW so Frasier gets back at him by playing a prank on him, and Mrs. Moon and one of the neighbor kids trick each other.
You should really consider them, they are hilarious!

I didn't think that TALES FROM THE CRYPT one was very good.
treky 09-18-2013, 06:03 PM there was an episode of EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND where Frank was handing out the candy at Ray & Debras while they were taking the kids trick-or-treating, and when he ran out of candy he accidentally gave out some birth control pills:lol:
biffbronson 09-18-2013, 07:35 PM Happy Days -- remember when the Cunninghams were giving out apples for Halloween, and the girl complained that the apple crushed the cookie she received from another house?
andress_jade 09-19-2013, 12:53 AM there was an episode of EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND where Frank was handing out the candy at Ray & Debras while they were taking the kids trick-or-treating, and when he ran out of candy he accidentally gave out some birth control pills:lol:
Actually it was condoms he passed out. They were in gold wrappers and he thought they were candy and passed them out to the kids not realizing what they really were. That was so funny!

One of my favorites as well.
Ohio8 09-25-2013, 05:30 PM what is?
"Trick or Treatment" was the episode where George Wendt played a Marine who got a billiard ball stuck in his mouth.
MacLeaper 09-26-2013, 07:07 PM Sounds like a good lineup. I honestly don't really celebrate Halloween per se, but I do enjoy watching some of the Halloween-themed episodes of TV shows and such. (I also like to read some Halloween-themed books in The Hardy Boys series around that time sometimes.:) )
It seems that many shows (though not necessarily all) tend to have a holiday episode somewhere- Halloween is a big one for American shows- and while there are other holidays that are done (Valentine's Day, Thanksgiving, New Year's Day, Easter, etc.)- the biggest one by far has to be Christmas.
Anyway, as to favorite Halloween episodes- I particularly love the "Home Improvement" ones (it seems they did such an episode most every season- they also did a Christmas episode most every season and I love those too.)
Beyond that, the "Boy Meets World" episodes are pretty good for Halloween.
However, I have two episodes that I like to add that were not actually aired at Halloween, yet they certainly fit well anyway- "And Then There Was Shawn" (a huge spoof of "Scream" and other horror movies) and "The Psychotic Episode" (episode where Cory has a recurring dream about trying to kill Shawn in different manners.)
"Family Matters" is another show with a tradition of doing Halloween episodes most every season, along with Christmas episodes- and I love all of them.
ALF- "Some Enchanted Evening"
Saved By The Bell- "Mystery Weekend" (I think that's probably about as close as the show got to a Halloween episode, though I don't think it's actually set at Halloween or anything.)
Charles in Charge- "Trick or Treat"
Growing Pains- "Happy Halloween" (Parts 1 and 2)
Perfect Strangers- "Aliens" and "Fright Night"
Scooby-Doo is always great on Halloween too. Here are a few favorite episodes set at Halloween-
"The Scooby-Doo Show"- "The Headless Horseman of Halloween"
"The Scooby-Doo Show"- "To Switch A Witch"
"The New Scooby-Doo Mysteries"- "A Halloween Hassle at Dracula's Castle" (Parts 1 and 2)
"A Pup Named Scooby-Doo"- "Ghost Who's Coming To Dinner"
"What's New Scooby-Doo?"- "A Scooby-Doo Halloween"
And there are other good ones of course.
I also like some drama, mystery, action/adventure and scifi/fantasy episodes-
"Early Edition"- "Halloween" (this is actually pretty hilarious at times too)
"Quantum Leap"- "The Boogieman", "The Curse of Ptah-Hotep" and "Blood Moon"
"MacGyver"- "The Secret of Parker House" and "Halloween Knights" ("Walking Dead", "Ghost Ship" and "Lesson In Evil" could maybe fall in here too)
"The Greatest American Hero"- "The Beast in Black", "A Chicken in Every Plot", "The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea", and "The Resurrection of Carlini"
"Knight Rider"- "Halloween Knight" and "Voodoo Knight"
"The Incredible Hulk"- "The Haunted"
"The Amazing Spider-Man" (1970s US live action series)- "The Kirkwood Haunting"
"Galactica 1980"- "The Night The Cylons Landed"
"Magnum, P.I."- "The Woman on the Beach"
"The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries"- "The Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew Meet Dracula" (Parts 1 and 2)- (this is the only episode that was really billed as a Halloween special, but there are other spooky episodes that I think work well for Halloween)- "The Mystery of The Haunted House", "The Mystery of Pirate's Cove", "The Mystery of Witches' Hollow", "The Secret of the Whispering Walls", "A Haunting We Will Go", "The Mystery of the Hollywood Phantom" (Parts 1 and 2), "The House on Possessed Hill", "Voodoo Doll" (Parts 1 and 2)
"Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman"- "When Irish Eyes Are Killing", "Never on Sunday" and "Ghosts"

"Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman"- "When Irish Eyes Are Killing", "Never on Sunday" and "Ghosts"Wow!! That is a lot. I remebered most of them especially Scooby Doo.

treky 10-02-2013, 11:13 PM MASH: "Follies of the Living, Concerns of the Dead."
that wasn't a Halloween episode.
Ohio8 10-22-2013, 11:57 PM that wasn't a Halloween episode.
It still qualifies for the "spooky episode" category, however. The one scene that was especially scary was at the end of the second act, where Weston's ghost is walking down the road with the ghosts of other dead soldiers, and he asks the blond American soldier ghost "Where do we go?" And "What do you think it's going to be like?"
king of comedy 10-23-2013, 06:15 AM That was a great episode.
Torgo 10-23-2013, 09:56 AM The Adventures Of Pete And Pete - Halloweenie
Happy Days - Haunted, The Evil Eye
Square Pegs - Halloween XII
The Addams Family - Halloween With The Addams Family
Non-sitcom:
Freaks And Geeks - Tricks And Treats
Spooky episodes:
Eight Is Enough - Horror Story
Leave It To Beaver - The Haunted House
Hogan's Family - Nightmare On Oak Street
The Waltons - Ghost Story
The Adventures Of Brisco County Jr - Bad Luck Betty
Penny Lane 10-23-2013, 11:33 AM My favorites are;
Happy Days season 2 -"Haunted"
Facts Of Life season 5 "The Halloween Show"
Little House On The Prairie season 3 "The Monster Of Walnut Grove"
The Waltons season 7 - "The Changeling" (Not a Halloween episode per se but spooky as the Walton home is invaded by a poltergeist.)

The Waltons season 7 - "The Changeling" (Not a Halloween episode per se but spooky as the Walton home is invaded by a poltergeist.)
That's another good spooky Walton's episode, also the one where there's someone sneaking around at night around town.
tooltime1996 10-26-2013, 04:45 PM I like the Halloween episodes of Home Improvement!!!
SD_Blaise 10-26-2013, 05:30 PM My collection - 2013:

MacLeaper 10-28-2013, 04:43 PM The Waltons season 7 - "The Changeling" (Not a Halloween episode per se but spooky as the Walton home is invaded by a poltergeist.)
Wow- I didn't know "The Waltons" had an episode dealing with poltergeists- I'm trying to picture that- interesting.
Penny Lane 10-28-2013, 04:50 PM Wow- I didn't know "The Waltons" had an episode dealing with poltergeists- I'm trying to picture that- interesting.
Yes it was creepy! Elizabeth is turning 13 and is very unsettled and afraid of growing up. Supposedly a poltergeist feeds on energy of an adolescent. Usually a girl going into puberty. Anyway, that's what the episode is about. A different kind of Walton's storyline. :D
Furienna 10-28-2013, 06:02 PM I remember three Halloween episodes from "Family Matters" (excluding the Stevil ones).
1: Steve and Laura go to a bank, only to be held hostages during a robbery.
2: Eddy has Waldo take Richie trick-or-treating, so he can follow a girl to a party, and Waldo ends up bringing back a Chinese kid instead! (This one is probably my favorite out of these three.)
3: The family tell each other a spooky story during a power black-out.
I also remember two Halloween episodes from "Fresh Prince".
1: The family go to a mall to buy costumes. Will and Carlton argue over who will get a date with a girl, and to Will's horror, she chooses Carlton!
2: Will has a nightmare about a curse being cast over the family. Or did he really just dream it?

Thanks for the synopsis. Sounds interesting indeed.
tooltime1996 11-02-2013, 06:22 PM Home Improvement: I liked when Brad & Randy scared Tim, Jill, & Mark in the episode called "I was a teenage Taylor" in season 6.
