Since the series is out on DVD now, I was wondering if anyone has discovered a "new" favorite episode or rediscovered an old favorite? If so, which episode is your favorite and why?

I have only seen the first two seasons so far (I had seen Season One back in the late '90s when TV Land ran it) and my favorite episode then and now is still "SOUP AND FISH" where Dobie, Maynard and Chatsworth all "share" the one tuxedo to attend a fancy party. Great, fast-paced script with lots of physical comedy. I also like the S2 episode where Maynard finds the baby. Love the scene where they try to smuggle it out of the classroom without Mr. Pomfritt seeing it--VERY well-choreographed.

Both are great choices! I especially love the episode where Maynard finds the baby.

I know I started this thread, but I am having trouble choosing a favorite episode. I might have to pick my favorite 10 episodes. Hard to narrow it down. :)

I need to get into watching season 4 again. Only saw the first two but I did enjoy the murder episode from that season oh and the one where Dobie's parents think he has a baby from the first season.

Maynard joining the Army comes to mind as a real funny episode that I love.

One of my favorites is "Me and Robert Browning"

My favorite is and always has been is when Dobie became a beatnik.

I'm picking "The Chicken From Outer Space" from Season 1. Simply hilarious from beginning to end.

I liked the episode where Doby is having a picnic at school but the picnic keeps on getting cancelled because of the rain. He, this girl, and Maynard, made over 400 Sandwiches. That episode was funny.
