"Community" Brings Back "The Daily Show's" John Oliver for Multi-Episode Arc

Crank up Mystikal’s 'Danger', Greendale: John Oliver is once more in the house.

"The Daily Show" funnyman will reprise his role of Prof. Ian Duncan on the upcoming season of NBC’s "Community".



According to The Hollywood Reporter, which first reported the comedian’s return, Oliver will appear in at least six episodes of the quirky collegiate comedy.

Duncan made his Greendale debut in the series’ pilot and recurred in Seasons 1 and 2.



NBC has not yet announced "Community‘s" return date.

I liked his character on the show, this can only be good for the show him coming back.

Season 5 is sounding better by the minute. Sad we're losing Pierce and Troy, but like...literally everyone else is coming back. And Harmon says they're trying to get in a mindset more like the first two seasons, which were definitely the shows' best (though Season 3 was great too, but those first two seasons were flawless television).
