Universal Sets Jurassic Park 4 Release Date, Title

Universal Pictures has set a release date and title for the fourth installment of the Jurassic Park franchise. Jurassic World hits theaters June 12, 2015.

Steven Spielberg, who directed the 1993 original and its 1997 follow-up, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, will produce. Colin Trevorrow (Safety Not Guaranteed) will direct from a draft of a screenplay he wrote with Derek Connolly.

Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley will also produce. The film will be shot in 3D.





Universal also released an official logo for the film.

Jurassic World is currently the only film slated to be released the weekend of June 12, 2015.

Looking forward to seeing this one! It's been in the works for years and postponed many times, so glad to see it has finally been green-lighted! :)
