Hello everyone,

I have a curious question: were reruns of "Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman" ever on Nick at Nite? If yes, for how long?

True, I KNOW its spin-off, "Fernwood 2-Night," enjoyed a 3-year stint on Nick at Nite from April 2, 1990 - April 2, 1993, but what I wanna know is if "Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman" was included as part of the package for "Fernwood 2-Night."

I do know that reruns aired, briefly, on the Lifetime in the late 1990s and on TV Land in Summer 2002, but seriously, what I want to know, in all honesty, is if "Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman" ever was on Nick at Nite, because its 10th Anniversary Issue in 1995 lists "Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman" as a show having aired on Nick at Nite; I know, cause I used to have the magazine.

I don't think so.

Actually, it was rerun, but only very briefly and not as part of the daily schedule. There was a block of shows on the weekend, in the early 90s I think, that was called "TV Kitsch-en" with newly filmed host wraparounds by Martin Mull and Fred Willard. They showed MH2 and Fernwood 2Nite, maybe only one episode per week. I also can't remember if it was Nick at Nite or TV Land. They got through, maybe episode 35 before the block disappeared. It's not surprising this show wouldn't succeed in reruns if it wasn't shown every day as it was meant to be.

it was in the mid-to-early 2000s and was on TV LAND.

Even though I just bought the complete series, I would still love it if TV Land or another network started airing this again.

Thing is, the rerun versions of episodes were edited down from the already short ~20 min original versions (not counting the credits and occasional previews). I know when TV Land reran it as part of the "TV Land Kitsch-en" those were edited episodes.
