"Sex and the City" Star Cynthia Nixon Joins the Cast of "Hannibal"

Cynthia Nixon is returning to television.
The "Sex and the City" alum has landed a recurring role on NBC's "Hannibal", TVLine.com reports.
Nixon will play Kade Purnell, who works in the Office of the Inspector General in FBI Oversight who helps investigate the events of Season 1 that landed FBI profiler Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) in jail.
"Hannibal" returns midseason on NBC.
