Saying that he may win the MVP this season and that he has HOF numbers since he has 27,000 passing yards LOL

I can't deal with that silly sh*t tonight:lol:

I was having fun reading that thread. They always overrate him. He's never going to the HOF without winning a SB. They're trying to compare him to Dan Marino, Warren Moon and Dan Fouts. lol Maybe he'll get in the Ring of Honor but I still think that if he does then Danny White should go in.

What QB is in the HOF without playoff success? I just can't imagine who that is

Marino, Moon and Fouts are in without winning SBs but all three won games in the playoffs and they put up huge passing numbers in an era when passing wasn't as big as it is now. When you think of them, they were some of the best QBs of that time. Romo is not considered in that class. When you think of this era you think of Brady, Manning, Brees and Rodgers

I wasn't sure what the poster meant by no playoff success. I didn't know if he meant not winning a SB or getting to the playoff all the time and only winning a couple of times

He probably figures Romo can get in with the one playoff win if he continues to put up stats. The Cowboys need to at least get to NFC Championship Games and SBs. If the Cowboys lose them than maybe Romo can get into the discussion. He's nowhere near the discussion with one playoff win.

I can't say McNabb is a HOF'er but he's closer than Romo. I can't believe some of those posters.

At this point I would start a list with Romo, McNabb, and Jim McMahon (Bears) as the biggest-name QBs who probably won't go into the HOF. Maybe include Eli Manning as well. There's a big difference between being 'good' and being good enough to make the cut. Would not be shocked if McNabb went in though.

Personally I liked Steve McNair (Titans) a lot and he almost got a Super Bowl win (over the Rams). Hard to believe he's gone.
