"Beauty and the Beast" Scoop: Who Are Cat and Vincent's New Threats?

Both Cat and Vincent are getting blasts from the pasts who are going to cause some major problems for the "Beauty and the Beast" duo.

"Arrow" alum Annie Ilonzeh has been cast as Beth, a high school friend of Catherine (Kristin Kreuk) who is a strong-willed, dynamic journalist, TVGuide.com has learned exclusively. When Beth is an eyewitness to a frightening assault, she causes big problems for Cat.



Also guesting on Season 2 of the CW drama is "The Lying Game's" Blair Redford. He will play Zach, a long-lost Army buddy of Vincent's (Jay Ryan) who turns out to be a terrifying opponent and a dangerous threat.

Both Redford and Ilonzeh most recently recurred on "Switched at Birth".



"Beauty and the Beast" returns on Monday, Oct. 7 at 9/8c.
