Ok, apparently this is NOT a Lucy site like I thought it was. This name-calling and fussing between these 9 and 10 year olds (IF they are that old) is absolutely rediculous! I feel like I am back in elementary school again. I totally agree with you, onlyonelucy. This is beyond ridiculous, and I'm sick and tired of it. If they can't keep their arguments on IM or email, then I'm outta here as well.

There is NO NEED to call people dumb, stupid, a lesbo, a bitch, or whatever. It's disrespectful. There's no need to do that no matter how much they piss you off---two wrongs don't make a right. But I guess it comes with maturity. I am 15 friggin years old and all of this fighting and name calling takes me right back to when I was 6. I am really disappointed cuz I thought this was another cool site to meet people & chat about Lucy. Guess not. It SEEMS like some of you have nothing better to do than to sit around and belittle each other. When is it going to stop? It's like y'all sit around and try to pick fights. Couldn't agree more!!! I've lost a lot of respect for those involved. But, gained a lot of respect for the best moderators in the business. I've heard that they (JG15 and Davy's niece) have now both been banned. Pity that has to be the only solution.

And, guys, you never know who is reading these forums. If you want to make complete dills of yourselves publicly, just be aware that you could be doing it in front of someone you'd rather not.

I am sick of the fighting as well. They fight over childish, stupid, little things over and over again. It is getting so old and ridulous. I wish those two would just stop and take a break. All of us have asked them to stop and still they are fighting like cats and dogs. In way they are disrespecting us by allowing the fights to continue. I have no sympathy for either of them.

Unfortunately, banning people isn't the best solution....people can and do always come back under a different name. :mad: Why the need for all of this stupid arguing IN THE FIRST PLACE? ARRRGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!! :mad: This pisses me off just thinking about it.

Thanks, Sherry :) And, it's true. They'd be kicking themselves. But, apparently, as of about 1/2 an hour ago, the two of them were banned. After the Trivia book topic posts, that is. If they have any respect for themselves or the board left at all, they won't be returning. I think we smart cookies would be able to pick them out, anyway.... hmmm....?

I am not so much "mad" as I am sad at this situation. It is very sad that people who claim to have a common interest cannot carry on a civilized conversation without attacking each other. I certainly hope that these vulgarians have not soured other, more worthy people from joining the forum and actually contributing something insightful...lets hope that there is peace for once. We're rid of the philistines...hopefully.

Well I agree with everyone about all the fighting. I mean its pretty immature to be starting fights like that and I'm really sick of it. Its sad to see that people can't keep the fighting to themselves and bring it to the Lucy board. Oh well myabe things are better now.

I'm really sorry all of you are deciding to leave. I'm more than sick of it and have thought seriously about leaving as well. Unfortunately I got stuck in the middle. I hope none of you blame me for anything and I sincerely hope you all decide to stay. You are all valuable assets to the board due to your extreme love and knowledge of all things Lucy. Again, I'm sorry.

Usually if a person is banned, the word "Banned" appears under their username. I just checked and it's not there. But I have informed TJ of the situation, which is why the topic is still there.

I definitely don't blame you in any way. Kudos on handling the situation so well! :clap: I know I wouldn't have been able to. Seriously, being stuck in the middle is always hard. As for the banned thing, I was just going by what John said :rolleyes:

dg, I don't blame you for any of this. You're one of my favorite people here. :) I feel awful that you were stuck in the middle of such a bad situation.
As long as the childish bantering stops and we get back to talking about Lucy, I will stick around.
