Movie Reviews: Getaway


Reviews don't come any worse than those for Getaway, starring Selena Gomez and Ethan Hawke.





Peter Hartlaub of the San Francisco Chronicle warns that you've probably seen this movie before:

"when watching a child play with his toy Hot Wheels cars after eating multiple bowls of sugary breakfast cereal."





Mary Houlihan in the Chicago Tribune says that the film:

"amounts to one long chase scene."





Stephen Holden in the New York Times writes:

"The glimmers of wit and carnival humor evident in the Fast and Furious movies are nowhere to be found in Getaway."





Sheri Linden in the Los Angeles Times:

"Gomez occupies a register consisting of one note, and it's not a convincing one. Hawke has considerably more range, although when worry crosses his face, you suspect he's thinking about the script."

I highly recommend it I enjoyed it im not much of car persons if you like die hard taken or the transporters movies I highly recommend the get away

I saw the previews and i liked what i saw. I'm gonna see it this weekend. Selena Gomez is hot.

I forgot about this movie. I think it's already left the theatres LOL. If it's still at the theatre, I might check it out next week.

I just checked the theatre in my area on Yahoo.com and it's not there LOL. I'm gonna have to wait for it to come to video. I did see Selena Gomez Spring Breakers and it was alright. It was funny seeing James Franco play a rapper and a drug dealer LOL.
