(The Kramdens & Nortons are having a Labor Day Picnic in Central Park.)

Trixie: "What a great day to have a picnic Alice."

Alice: "Yes. Here come our boys with the barbeque grill that they got from Joe Cassidy."

Trixie: "What a scene that they made getting that grill onto the bus."

(The boys come by with the grill, tank and food.)

Ralph: "What a great day to be off from work. I am so glad that the Gotham Bus Company gave me the day off."

Ed: "And I am also glad that my sewer gave me the day off."

Ralph: "This looks like a swell spot. Right near the water."

Ed: "Hey, this water eminds me of my job just like riding on the bus reminded you of yours."

Alice: "Ralph, I don't think that this may be a good spot."

Ralph: "Who asked for your opinion Alice? I think that it is great. We can see all of New York from here."

Ed: "Ralph, you got this grill from Joe Cassidy. You keep on borrowing this grill from him. Why don't you ever buy a new one?"

Ralph: "Because after the one that I bought broke down, I was not going to waste any more money on one when I can borrow one."

(The girls roll their eyes.)

Ralph: "Let's fire up the grill. I love spending Labor Day here. The only better place to spend it is in Miami Beach."

(Audience cheers.)

(Later on, Ed is cooking the food while Ralph is sleeping on the ground next to the grill.)

Ed: "Boy Trixie, look at those kids playing frisbee. I love playing frisbee."

Trixie: "I know. You tried to play it with me yesterday in our apartment."

(Ed catches a frisbee.)

Ed (accidentally knocking the grill over onto Ralph, yells): "THIS IS A GOOD FRISBEE."

(Ralph wakes up.)

Ralph (accidentally knocking the grill and into the water, yells): "ARRRRRRRRRGGGGH! OWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!"

(Ralph gets up.)

Ralph (dancing around, yells): "ARRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHH! YEOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!" (to Ed, yells): "LOOK AT WHAT YOU MADE ME DO! YOU MADE ME PUSH THE GRILL INTO THE WATER."

Alice (yells): "BOYS, IT WAS BOTH OF YOUR FAULTS. ED WASN'T PAYING ATTENTION AND RALPH YOU ARE THE ONE THAT GOT THE GRILL ALL WET."

Ed: "I'm sorry. I am surprised that Ralph had the strength to push the grill off of his chest along with the food."

Ralph (yells): "PUT 'EM UP NORTON! PUT 'EM UP!"

(The grils try to make peace.)

(Jackie Gleason walks on stage. Audience applauds.)

Jackie: "Thank you. GOOD NIGHT!"

(Audience cheers.)
