Though Ann and Don never "went all the way" they shared a lot of kisses. spent2 nights together, and were deeply in love. what do you fans think was their sexiest scene together, despite the censors at abc?

I recall a tag scene where Ann spills something on Don's lap and she was about to wipe the wet spot.

I can think of 2: In the ep where Ann thinks she has no sex appeal, she is discussing this with Don. All of a sudden he tells her he has to leave rather quickly. The other is at the very end of the ep. when Don is having second thoughts about the engagement. Ann and DOn are trying out their new camera and they are posing with the timer set. Don gives Ann several slow kisses and she's waiting for the flash to go off and he says he never even set the timer.;)

I can think of quite a few episodes with sexy scenes without Donald. The opening scene from "When in Rome" where Ann appears to be naked behind the driver's side door of a Ferrari at a car show, and the first part of "It's a Mod, Mod, Mod, Mod World" contains a photo shoot where Ann appears to be naked.


It just so happens I was thinking about this subject this afternoon. The show really pushed the envelope, and not just with the idea that women don't have to run off and get a husband or a pink-collar job as soon as they grow up. It pushed the envelope on giving both Marlo and her character sex appeal, as if they're letting us know that she's not just attractive because of her wide eyes, fair skin, and fluffy, flippy hair.

True, there were some rather racy(60s standards) bits. The one that stands out for me is the Sex Appeal ep. Ann is standing in her bathrobe and staring at the mirror. Then she does a sort of strip tease and they play some bawdy music in the background. Then Lou walks in and orders her to put her robe back on. ;)

Have been looking for the camera episode.which one is it?

The camera ep is from S5 called, "A LImited Engagement." It's the tag for the episode. I guess it's not too sexy but I consider it a make-out moment. OH! and I remember more racey scenes: A Muggy Day in Central Park when, at the end, Don Ann and Lou are in teh park after catching the purse thief and Don lifts up his dress to get his emergency cash and he lifts it a little too high, Ann Vs the SEcretary when the secretary(Mary Frann from "Newhart") comes into Don's room showing off her long legs and playing seductively with his tie, and "The Mating Game" when Don is listening to the fake recording Ann and her date made pretending they're making out. ;)

personally, I just play the dvd and then use the Print Screen command. Then I paste it in Microsoft Paint, crop it and save it as a jpeg. ;)

I believe the sexiest scene in "That Girl" was at the end of "Hearing Today, Gone Tomorrow". It wouldn't be considered sexy by any means today, and it was subtle, even in the 60's. But I thought it epitomized why I fell in love with Marlo Thomas, (Ann Marie".
Her voice was the sexiest I've ever heard, and when she added a whisper quality to it, Donald was jelly, so that scene had it all.

How about Ann in that Jungle Girl outfit!!
