HEY Everyone. I had just watched back the Lucy episode, Lucy Writes A Novel...what an emotional episode! I couldnt help but cry when lucy found out that her book wasnt going to be published, and she had to give back her framed check. I also thought that Ricky, Fred, and Ethel did the meanest and most horrible thing to lucy- burning her novel behind her back! Im glad that our redhead was smart enough to make more than one copy.
I LOVE LUCY!!!

I like that episode because I want to be a writer and I really hope that doesn't happen to me!

But would you let an author use part of your manuscript in a text to demonstrate how not to do it? :) At least if you were paid enough?

I enjoyed this episode a lot. I often wonder how Lucy Ricardo is able to stay energetic in all the things she does such as writing a novel or play, getting into Ricky's show, meeting celebrities, ect. I find Mrs. Ricardo to be a very amazing woman!

But she's right, that scene at the end tore your heart up, she was very believable in that giving back the cheque scene!
