UM had several segments on baby stealers, such as Georgia Tann and Bessie Bernard, but I don't recall any of them working at a hospital.

He could also be thinking of Genene Jones, the Texas baby killer who killed 40+ infants at the hospital she worked at. I don't think she sold babies, just killed them. :eek:

In any case, Genene Jones was never featured on UM. She has been incarcerated since 1985 (UM didn't exist yet).

Here's one case where the lady was told by hospital staff that her baby had died but she believes they adopted the girl out against the mom's will due to the fact that she was a single parent back in the early 60s.
