Dean Winters To Play Andy Samberg's Rival on "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" -- EXCLUSIVE

Dean Winters has mixed it up with Tina Fey on "30 Rock", and now he’ll play the onscreen foil of another SNL vet, Andy Samberg.
In an upcoming episode of Fox’s new cop comedy, "Brooklyn Nine-Nine", Winters will guest-star as Warren Pembroke, who works for the Major Crimes Unit and has a rivalry with goofy-but-skilled detective Jake (Samberg).
Other celebrities will pop up in early episodes of the series as well. Fox has confirmed that rapper Kid Cudi will appear as a jewelry thief in an episode. (The Hollywood Reporter first reported the news.)
In addition, the first episode includes a cameo by SNL alum Fred Armisen.
Created by "Parks and Recreation" executive producers Michael Schur and Dan Goor, "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" debuts Sept. 17.
