So I've been listening to the TV Land themes CD from way back when, and am reminded that the "full-length" version of "Making Our Dreams Come True" features the line "we're gonna make it" instead of the TV version's "we're gonna do it." (And in fact I think the song was called "We're Gonna Make It" in the credits of early episodes). Why the change? Did they want the L&S theme to not be compared to the Mary Tyler Moore one, perhaps?

Or perhaps they didn't want people to take it as a subtle suggestion that Laverne and Shirley might be lesbians!!:lol:
