I'm excited about it. I just don't always reply to threads. :)

I own the series on DVD already plus I went back and bought all the action figures and playhouse playset from 1988 and have it displayed in my house. Even though I already own the show on DVD, I'm still going to buy the blu-ray.

Over 25 years have passed since the series made its home video debut on Hi-Tops Video. And the time is now right for it to make its Blu-Ray debut.

You need to reply to more threads. I always look forward to your posts.

I own the DVDs also but I really want this on Blu-ray. The playhouse is going to look epic in HD!

I so want those action figures and playset. I thought about buying it a few months back but haven't gotten around to it.

The price has dropped to $96.99 on amazon. That's unusual for a title released by Shout! Factory for the price to drop that much especially before release day. Preorder now people if you want this set!

I received my set today from amazon! So far I've watched the first 2 episodes and the playhouse looks immaculate. It's obvious that tons of love and respect went into this set. Kudos to Paul Ruebens!

I want to buy this set but right now I have very little money. And the money I can scrape up will go to buying complete series sets of Phil Silvers, Mister Ed, The Jeffersons and the final season of Mork & Mindy. I've already pre-ordered Batman, so I don't have to worry about that one.

It's good to know the blu-rays are out. It's just a matter of time before I can make my purchase.

If there is one disappointing thing I will express about the Blu-Rays, it is this:

I didn't purchase the Blu-Rays, but I did go through the runtimes of the full episodes Shout is offering on YouTube, and I will say this:

It doesn't seem like Mr. Reubens kept everything, because for no reason, he threw away the negative for the opening scene to one of the two season 3 episodes. (clip below)

Also, the season 4 episodes originally had the season 2 opening. That version of the opening with clips from episodes from all the seasons was originally only for season 5.
