View Full Version : So what was so bad with receiving a $50 gift certificate for returning the money?

i mean it wasn't what James expected but the family could have stacked up on food to last them for a while which would have allowed the money he normally had to be saved or used for something else.

So again I ask..................what was wrong with receiving a $50 gift toward food which would be like $140 worth of food today?? This is one of James slow moments of the show LOL

If you recall, the store was the dreaded Borgan's Market, and according to them, that $50 dollars or a week's salary would buy them one day's worth of groceries and they are getting expensive by the minute!

It was still a bonus at the end of the day since it was their neighborhood market and they were able to get free food

Not to mention Borden's also sold bad meat. Why be happy about buying one day's worth of bad food?

That was one time they happened to buy bad meat, it was not a normal thing
