when he was told he had to pay $5000 to bail him out of Jail, today that would be like having to pay $23,000:lol: :lol:
Then when the man say they can pay 10% of 5000 which was $500 they still would be paying $2400 today LOL
I remember saying years ago............."$500 wasn't that bad:lol:

$500 is still a lot today, and for the Evans to come up with that would have taken a miracle.

Two things that didn't make sense for one was why Florida was down and willing to do business with a loan shark? And why was the loan shark stupid enough to be hanging around in the police station?

I don't know about back then, but usually you will get released the next day, especially if you didn't do the crime.

But they were told that it would have to sit in there for a while which is why they went the loan shark route
