Father Knows Best Leave It to Beaver Batman (the live action '60s show, which is sort of an action show, but might as well be a sitcom- it's good either way.) Charles in Charge (one of my all time favorites from the '80s) Small Wonder Full House (LOVE this series- seen most episodes many times over) Happy Days (LOVE this series!) Laverne & Shirley (LOVE this series!) Mork & Mindy (LOVE this series! - okay, I'm probably gonna wind up doing that on all of these, so I better stop that- lol) ALF The Muppet Show Family Matters (I know it ran mostly in the 1990s, but it did start in 1989) Doogie Howser, M.D. (same deal- though this is kind of a dramedy) The Greatest American Hero (okay- it's a superhero show and I generally look at it a bit more seriously... but it's meant as a comedy- it's really a parody of superheroes in many ways- in any case, well worth the watch if you enjoy superheroes at all) (Of course, with that last argument's reasoning, I could also recommend The A-Team- though again, I take show a little more seriously, but it was also created as a parody of sorts.) Sledge Hammer! (okay- this one is also sort of an action show, but it's definitely a sitcom- a half hour long show that totally lampooned tough guy heroes with big guns, like Dirty Harry and Hunter. Fun '80s show.) My Favorite Martian The Addams Family Gimme A Break! Welcome Back, Kotter Taxi Day By Day Valerie (aka Valerie's Family aka The Hogan Family) Silver Spoons Night Court Punky Brewster Growing Pains The Courtship of Eddie's Father Out of this World The Beachcombers The Cosby Show Chico and The Man The Golden Girls Just the Ten of Us The Brady Bunch The Brady Brides The Adventures of Ozzie & Harriet Rookielove 08-09-2013, 01:21 PM 50s: Bachelor Father Amos and Andy Adventures of Superman 60s: I Dream Of Jeannie Gidget Julia The Beverly Hillbillies Gilligan's Island The Brady Bunch Hazel The Addams Family The Munsters Bewitched Batman The Andy Griffith Show 70s: Good Times Three's Company The Jeffersons Sanford and Son Laverne and Shirley Happy Days Mork and Mindy Different Strokes The Facts of Life The Love Boat What's Happening Alice One Day At A Time |
