LeAnn Rimes, Eddie Cibrian Get Unscripted VH1 Show
8/7/2013

LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian are getting their own unscripted show on VH1.

The series, currently titled "LeAnn & Eddie", will be six half-hour episodes and is set to premiere on VH1 in the fall of 2013 or winter of 2014.

The duo will serve as executive producers alongside Scott and Deirdre Gurney for Gurney Productions, the company behind "Duck Dynasty". Also serving as executive producers are John Ferriter for Octagon Entertainment, Scotty Abrams for Maniac Filmworks and Music, and Jill Holmes for VH1.

"We are really excited to be working together on a unique show that will give you a glimpse into who we really are or better yet who we're really not. We're thrilled to partner with VH1 and The Gurneys to put our spin on a project full of love, humor and music," Rimes and Cibrian said in a statement.

VH1 describes the series as a look inside the world the two celebrities live in -- their normal, married couple life at home and their paparazzi-filled life outside the house.

"With 'LeAnn & Eddie,' they look forward to sharing a bit of their world and poke fun at what it’s like to be a high-profile couple with more than a little misinformation out there about them," the network said in a release.

"LeAnn and Eddie are both talented entertainers who have really captured the public’s imagination in the last couple of years, but there is so much more to them than what you read in the tabloids," Tom Calderone, president of VH1, said in a statement.

"This is going to be a really fun show in which we hope to reveal what their lives are really like -- from the normalcy of their home life, to what drives them artistically, to the chaos of their celebrity life."

I take it LeAnn's career has hit the skids.

That would be a major understatement. All she's been doing lately in public is sniping with Eddie's ex-wife via Twitter and the like. Though I would not be surprised if she did a new album in conjunction with this new show.

Does anyone know how this show is doing so far? The third installment of it was shown last night, so I guess that is good. If it was considered bad enough, it wouldn't have gotten to this point, right?

God bless you and LeAnn always!!! :) :) :)

It’s been a while since people liked LeAnn Rimes. Ever since her affair and subsequent marriage to Eddie Cibrian, she has been an object of derision (http://www.fame10.com/entertainment/7-celebrities-whose-careers-were-derailed-because-of-relationships/7/). People really dislike her and she spends a lot of her time engaging with the tabloids and her haters in a vain attempt to share her side of the story. It’s hard to believe she’s spent countless years doing it, but she has. Her inability to step away and let people say what they want and not engage is what makes her even more unlikable. Since her career has been suffering for years now, we figured we’d take a good look at how she single-handedly destroyed it!

^^^ If her career really was destroyed, she wouldn't have the ability to make and release albums still and just recently, she released her second Christmas album. :) :) :)

God bless you and LeAnn always!!! :) :) :)

^^^ Can I ask why you decided to share that with me? A lot of people may have walked away from LeAnn, but as long as I am still on this planet, saying that no one cares about her anymore is nothing but a load of bull crap. Oh and before LeAnn was ever around, Tanya Tucker was the youngest singer in country music, not Tonya Tucker. :) :) :)

God bless you and LeAnn and Tanya always!!! :) :) :)

P.S. To me, one of LeAnn's best songs is from her Spit Fire album named "God Takes Care Of Your Kind". :) :) :)
