Mission Impossible was a top notch espionage/action tv show. It came along at the height of the spy genre on tv (and in the movies). The spy genre has always been my personal favorite type of fiction in books, movies and tv.
I was wondering if there was room in the classic drama forum for a sub-forum on spy shows, similar to the ones about cop shows or westerns?
Many other good spy shows to choose from, most of the from 60's but there were others in other decades:
I Spy, Secret Agent (also known as Danger Man), It Takes a Thief, Man From UNCLE, Girl From UNCLE, The Avengers, even The Wild Wild West. More recently there was Alias, and a few short lived 1980's shows like Cover Up and Masquerade.
