I remember seeing a message on the screen saying that I received a personal message, however, I was unable to find it in my email box. Because of how long it has been since I have received such a message, I do not know if I did something wrong that kept the message from showing up. Maybe if you try again, we will get lucky this time.

It won't be in your email. Go to the upper right hand corner of the page where it shows your log in name and below it has a link for "private messages", click on that and it should take you right to it.
