...would you want the entire run of Rhoida, or Rhoda on the last 3 seasons of MTM?

I love Rhoda, and find it funnier than the last three seasons of MTM. I haven't seen season 5, though. But, still, seasons 1-3 of Rhoda, to me, were hilarious, and season 4 was still pretty good.

Rhoda any way works for me; so I'm going to be a pig and say I want both!

I think they went as far as they could with Rhoda as Mary's sidekick. It was time for her to branch out on her own.

That's tough because in those last 3 seasons of MTM, with Rhoda out of the picture, other characters on MTM were allowed to develop and shine more. There were so many great episodes focused on the other characters -- like the one about Ted Baxter's Broadcasting School, and the one when Sue Ann's sister visits when we see Sue Ann's bedroom, and "Chuckles Bites the Dust" -- that probably would never have been written had Rhoda still been around.

I enjoyed Rhoda more than MTM, so I'm glad Rhoda left to get her own show.

Personally I would have prefered for both Rhoda and Phyllis to stay on TMTMS for it's entire run. For me the scenes between Mary, Rhoda, and Phyllis were the best part of the show!
