Well, he tried to get the concert on tape and he admitted to it. Besides that, the Doobie Brothers said that Dunbar had also recorded their St. Louis and Los Angeles concerts. Apparently they'd been trying to catch him for a while. The tapes from the other concerts probably turned out better than the tape from the concert at Jefferson High.

Yeah, I don't know why they wanted to hear the tape. He was pretty much already caught red handed. Maybe they were just curious about how the tape sounded.

To prove that Rerun didn't actually tape the concert. That way Rerun isn't guilty of breaking the law and won't be charged!

Looked at this episode again tonight and I was out done that Dunbar tried to run inside the kitchen at the end:lol: :lol:

Trying to exit through the kitchen makes perfect sense. I have yet to see a restaurant or diner with a kitchen that didn't have an exit; usually leading to an alley or area where trash cans are kept and deliveries are made.

My thoughts exactly, TVFactFan! Dunbar and his partner-in-crime, Bruno, thought they could escape through the restroom--until they were stopped by Jeff "The Skunk" Baxter (and his cane) and the late Bobby LaKind!

So they could do the joke "I'm going to jail, and all I've got is a tape of a fat kid eating popcorn?"
