In the episode Sam's Women we see Sam's wife and Ken Levine mentioned on his blog it was forgotten as the show progressed but didn't he mention his whirlwind romance in season 5 "The Godfather, Part III" and season 8 "The Days of Wine and Neuroses" ?

Hmm, I didn't think Sam was married at all. He of course almost married Diane twice but I don't remember the episodes you mentioned.
