"Nashville" Reels In Sharknado Actress for Recurring Role -- EXCLUSIVE

She’s already battled airborne sharks, but for her next role, Aubrey Peeples is going to come face to face with creatures with a different kind of bite.
EW has learned exclusively that the Sharknado actress is set to recur on ABC’s "Nashville" as Layla, a runner-up in a big reality singing competition who just burst onto the music scene and seems to be as sweet and gracious as they come. (Key word: Seems.)
Peeples will first appear in the second episode of "Nashville’s" upcoming second season, which premieres Sept. 25.
