I so agree! And I never liked this character or the actor. He was a big pain in the ass as far as I'm concerned and not much of a friend. Case in point....when he was supposed to put a new stove in Ray's and Deb's kitchen and did nothing but watch Price is Right and then he had the nerve to charge him? But Ray was stupid enough to allow him back.:rolleyes:

yeah, gianni was kind of a painin the ass. but i guess that was just his character. didn't seem like a very nice guy. but it just never made sense to me that he always called ray "big nose" shen his own nose was bigger that ray's! weird!

I saw Ray Romano do his standup comedy act in Las Vegas one time, and Jon Manfrellotti (the guy who plays Gianni) was the guy who opened for him. According to IMDB, he also had many appearances on Ray's subsequent show, so they must've been longtime buddies before ELR.

I always thought the big-nose thing with Ray was odd too, but they did get some funny jokes out of it. :)

The stove was never taken care of and so at the end of the day, what did Ray and Debra really owe him? In my opinion, not one penny.

Mis-measuring that new stove was un-frigging-believable (he was too busy watching TPIR). Ray should have drop-kicked him out after that. Some contractor!
