who here has ever had some? Because I have to drink some the night before my biopsy next Wednesday and I'm wondering what it's like. Does it taste as gross as it sounds?

Put it in the refrigerator & chill it a little before you drink it, that will help you get it down. That's what I did when I had to drink it.

Hopefully what you have won't be too bad. I wonder if that stuff is anything like a barium. A barium is a chalky drink that has all kinds of little "pits" in it. It tastes soooo nasty. I had a CT Scan done in March 2006 and that's when I had to drink the barium. The worse part was not gagging. They make you drink it so that when you have the scan (usually with a contrast dye injected through an iv) they can see all your organs.

I know the Phillip's milk of magnesia that my parents always bought had a minty chalky taste. It didn't taste good, but I don't think it was overly nasty either.
