View Full Version : Steven Seagal movies question
irehtman 07-23-2013, 07:02 PM Why do producers and writers of these four movies, which contain actor Steven Seagal:
* Above The Law
* Hard To Kill
* Out For Justice
* Marked For Death
have to borrow this type of stupid violence and increased adult talk from the Godfather movies for no reason at all?
If these four movies has to be that way, they should used actor Charles Bronson instead to appear in these four movies instead! IMO.
Torgo 07-24-2013, 08:57 AM Huh?
irehtman 07-24-2013, 11:08 AM Huh?
What do you mean, "huh", for no reason at all, Torgo?
JamesG 07-24-2013, 11:10 AM irehtman, you're not making any sense.
irehtman 07-24-2013, 01:39 PM As a matter of fact, why does Steven Seagal has to borrow this type of violence and adult talk from the Godfather movies for no reason at all?!!!
Whatever violence and adult talk that Steven Seagal approached to, imitated Godfather violence and adult talk, do you know what I am saying?

No.
irehtman 07-24-2013, 05:40 PM Watch both the Godfather and Steven Seagal movies immediately!
You will find out that Steven Seagal wanted to borrow both that type of violence and adult talking style from the Godfather movies
Well, don't just stand there, JamesG, go do it!
JamesG 07-24-2013, 05:45 PM I've watched The Godfather Trilogy as well as those Seagal movies, and I don't get what you are saying.
Nothing was "borrowed" from The Godfather films. They are very different styles of film.

Steven Seagal borrowed the same type of violence from the Godfather movies! They are the same!
Schwarzeneggar, Stallone, Willis, Gibson, Van Damme, Snipes, Stallone and Statham do not do that too often like what Seagal is doing!
JamesG 07-25-2013, 11:18 AM Steven Seagal borrowed the same type of violence from the Godfather movies! They are the same!

Can you give me some specific examples of what Seagal "borrowed" from The Godfather films?
irehtman 07-25-2013, 01:15 PM For example, Seagal borrow the idea of putting a gun into another person's mouth. That was borrowed from Godfather Part II into Fire Down Below!
Automatically force shooting a criminal supervisor without mercy. That was borrowed from Godfather Part I to Hard To Kill.
Borrowing stupid violence from Godfather movies into Steven Seagal movies is wrong!
Of course, it does not apply too much on Schwarzeneggar, Stallone, Willis, Gibson, Snipes, Norris, Van Damme and Statham movies at all, which is alright!

The Godfather Part II did not originate "the gun in the mouth" bit. I'm sorry, but this idea of Seagal "borrowing" things from The Godfather series does not make any sense.
irehtman 07-25-2013, 05:14 PM It does now, you are not digging deeper at all, JamesG!
Torgo 07-26-2013, 08:55 AM What do you mean, "huh", for no reason at all, Torgo?
Huh is what people say in response to people who say things that make zero sense.
irehtman 07-26-2013, 11:18 AM Huh is what people say in response to people who say things that make zero sense.
What I am saying is that there is no zero sense at all!
Steven Seagal borrowed that type of violence from the Godfather movies, Steven is the one who is making zero sense at all!
Tubehead 07-26-2013, 09:10 PM I been watching Steven Seagal: Lawman kind of like cops but with s te ven seagal it kind of like cops before he was an actor he was a cop
isiahthomas 07-27-2013, 01:52 PM LOL@Irehtman. Steven hasn't borrowed anything from the Godfather movies. His movies are nothing like The Godfather movies. LOL@JamesG saying Irehtman isn't making any sense hahahahahahahahahaha.
irehtman 07-30-2013, 03:29 PM Steven Seagal was a cop and a lawman before he was an actor. No wonder the violence in his movies are more the Godfather violence type and he is no like these other actors:
Schwarzeneggar, Stallone, Willis, Gibson, Snipes, Norris, Van Damme and Statham.
I am trying to make sense here also, but you are all forbidden to ignore my opinions at all!
JamesG 07-30-2013, 03:41 PM People need to get their facts straight before jumping in.
He became a deputy sheriff in the late-80s when he was asked to train LEO after a sheriff saw Above the Law.
This whole thing on Seagal copying The Godfather is ludicrous.
irehtman 07-30-2013, 04:13 PM It is not ludicrous at all...
Steven Seagal was not like these other actors:
Schwarznneggar, Stallone, Willis, Gibson, Van Damme, Snipes, Norris, Statham.
It was too difficult watching Seagal movies all my life!
