Are Paul and Heather trying to Macca baby?

Is Paul McCartney about to make his greatest comeback yet at the age of 59 – as a dad?

I suspect Paul and his fiancée Heather Mills are planning on becoming the Fab Three sooner than anyone could have expected.

Ex-model Heather, who lost a leg when she was hit by a motorcycle in 1993, was spotted in Boots buying Pregnacare and a bottle of folic acid tablets.

For the uninitiated, Pregnacare is a multivitamin and mineral dietary supplement specifically developed for women who are trying to conceive and during pregnancy.

Folic acid is used for reducing the risk of the baby being born with spina bifida.

A fellow shopper at the branch in St John’s Wood, London, told me: “She came in as bold as brass and asked for them from behind the counter.

“I was quite surprised when I saw her because it is quite a private thing to be buying in so public a place. If they are planning a baby then the best of luck to them.”

Paul and Heather got engaged last July and are planning to marry in the spring.

And he hinted recently he hasn’t ruled out becoming a dad again. Last October when asked about the prospect of having another child, he said: “I don’t know, I really don’t know. So that in itself is a bit of an admission.”

Heather, 34, has also admitted there is nothing she would enjoy more than starting a family.

But the former model has been told she has to take extra care as she has suffered two ectopic pregnancies in the past.

Macca certainly has plenty of experience as a dad.

He has his own children Mary, 32, Stella, 30, and James, 24, as well as stepdaughter Heather, 38, from his late wife Linda’s previous marriage.

Last night Heather admitted buying the folic acid and Pregnacare but claimed they were for a friend.

He should think of staying a grandfather...............

Stay a grandfather... I mean look. When his kid is born, he'll be what, in his 60's? That means when his kid is 40 he'll be 100. And, if he has some of the bad luck of the other Beatles, of dying young [John, what, 40? George, 50 somethin?] then his kids gonna be in trouble

I say if they want a baby, go for it! I mean, look at Tony Randall. He had two kids in his 70's!

Hey, considering the kids he already has, what's the problem?

They all seem to be pretty down-to-earth, and not at all messed up.

Hmm... unless that's all Linda's doing.

Besides, Paul is a very "hip" person. He's probably more in tune with the youth movement, regardless of generation, than most of the young.

The majority of these old fathers don't even have time for their young children. They just want to father babies so they could think they're still young. Look at Anthony Quinn........... DEAD!!!

Anthony Quinn was in his eighties. Paul is just entering his sixties.

Charlie Chaplin had kids when he was in his 70's.

Personally, I have no opinion on this matter, and can't open my mouth, cuz some of the guys I like are in their 40's and 50's.

**moo, who also notes that being in his 70's, he was too old to pick them up...sucks don't it?**

Don't get mad at me for saying this, I do like Paul but I didn't know that Heather was 34 she is only 2 years older then Pauls daughter Mary that's gross I mean I wouldn't want a mother-in law that could be my sister. Also this baby thing is Paul going through a mid-life crisises or something, poor kid I mean he is going to have to be careful when he takes dad out to play so that he doesn't hurt his back or something.

Basically he's giving the child nothing. I mean what dad can run and play baseball and ride bikes with their child if he's in like his 60's and 70's. I mean by the time the child is 10 Paul will be like 70 and won't be as active as a 10 year old wants his/her father to be.

I mea yeah sure, you can play with someone that old but it still isn't as fun. Can you imaging playing hise and seek with your father who is so old that he probally can't bend down or move quickly or whatever......... LOL!

KK, I'm done for. now! ;)
