I don't have Oxygen, so I can't comment of Women and the Badge. I'm not a big fan of COPS though. I'm not into reality shows and plus, the officers always seem so violent towards suspects. I think it can lead to negative views of police officers. I know it used to do that to me when I was younger. Police brutality is something that should not be tolerated in this country.

I don't have Oxygen either, but that sounds like an interesting show. I do, however, like COPS. I have seen some violence, but I think it does a good job portraying the ins and out of the job- the boring things, the dangerous things, the truly moronic criminals (my favorite part).

The best show of this genre I've seen recently was The Real LAPD on TLC or Discovery, I don't remember which. They followed some real LAPD officers around for a day and all were truly commendable officers. They also did an excellent job of showing what officers go through when one of their own is gunned down and dies on duty. Very sad. Plus, seeing that made very clear that the Adam-12 episode "Elegy For a Pig" was very authentic.

I luv COPS!!! Its a real life police drama without the script! Its interesting to see what cops have to go through in real life situations....

I did not say that COPS was not authentic, all I said was that
some of the officers on there are rather rough with suspects.

And I didn't say you said it was fake. I just said what I thought of it.
