February

1-It's when people are tired of winter!

2-Shortest...yet Longest month of the year!

3-If you have NO Valentine...the 14th definitely sucks!

September. A beloved cousin passed away on September 12th, two years exactly (accounting for leap year in 2000) before 9/11. I don't know anyone who died on that day... but just that fact alone, blargh. I especially hate that week in September. :o

I'd say August because that seems to be the hottest month of the year.

Hard question! It would probably be October or November for me, as autumn is a very depressing season. December maybe is the darkest month, but at least you have Christmas coming up there to make things a bit nicer. But what does October or November have? Well, my mother has her birthday in October, and my little niece will have hers in November. But still...

December is my favorite month because

1. Gets dark at 4:30pm

2. Low electric bill

3. Good sleeping weather

4. Holiday season

5. Football and Basketball

So it never gets cold and dark in Philadelphia? Over here, the electric bills are at their highest in the winter, because we need to keep the heat and a lot of light on indoors.

March

1. Sick and tired of winter and the Xmas bills still need to be paid.

2. No good holidays since it's usually either snowing or raining on St. Patrick's Day and cabs are few and far in between

Remedy: i got married in March so I would have a reason to like the month! Also, it's a month when no one else wants to get married (per winter blah comment above) so I had my pick of venues at a discounted price.

November, I hate it when that month rolls around, three people who I was close to died in that month.

I'd say August because that seems to be the hottest month of the year.

The weather is so hot here as well. It's so hot here in August that they moved National Night Out a few years ago from August to October.

I don't have any months I don't like, but there are years I don't like - EVEN NUMBERED YEARS. These of course are Election Years, and all you see and hear are politics, politics POLITICS  :angryfire :cuss: :soapbox:

The month I used to hate is August, now I'm not sure which month I dislike the most. It might now be March.

The reason I used to hate August is when you live in a colder winter city, when August would roll around I would start to get depressed that the warmer weather would soon be coming to an end when it only started just a few months ago.
Now we have what I call yo-yo weather. The weather is extreme from one week to the next and you don't know what to expect. I barely had a spring to enjoy. So, now I'm enjoying the nicer weather when I can get it.

March is another tough month for me because of my birthday. I'm not someone who likes birthdays.

March is another month I don't like too much since there are no holidays and it's long.

October has... Halloween! (See below.)

I don't hate any month. My least favorite is probably February because I don't like cold weather. Even though quite few days here are 70 degrees or higher during the winter months.

My favorite is October, for one big obvious reason!

Well yeah, but Halloween is hardly noticable over here in Sweden. And if we celebrate it, we mostly see it as a sad holiday, when we put candles and wreaths on the graves of our loved ones. But I do have two really cool pumpkin candles, which I use as ornaments every year.

Well, at least you have some pumpkin candles.

Maybe if you create your own Halloween display, it will catch on? :)

Well, during some years around the turn of the millennium, there was a trend to adopt the American more fun version of Halloween. I remember that we wore costumes to school. But alas, that trend died out rather soon. I was a teenager back then, and it didn't last until I reached my 20s. I guess to most Swedes, Halloween will remain a rather "meh" holiday, even though it's the only one we have between Midsummer in June and Christmas in December.

Too bad, it's a very fun holiday!

A way to be scared but in a safe way.

I am amazed at the detail of some of the yard haunts and display. Some are as good or better than the haunted houses at carnivals and amusement parks. Some have a lot of mystery as to how the illusions and props work.

Halloween is not a holiday since I still have to work when it falls on a weekday

I hate all winter months because I hate the cold.
I especially hate January 1st because of all the noise the drunks have to make ushering in another miserable year. There used to be this old drunk across the street that would come out on his front porch beating on a large stew pot yelling, " Happy new year you mother f#@ers " He's gone now, some people came and took him away and put his house up for sale. Some woman with three little dogs live there now and everyone of them is a yapper, all night long.

I do not "hate" any month, either. Maybe because, in the area where I live, the weather is always mild. But, if I had to choose for my least favorite, it would probably be January. By then I am tired of Winter and looking forward to Spring:)
Yes, I am not too fond of January, either. It's probably my 2nd least favorite month.

August, it's usually very hot with hardly any rainfall, so you have to water all your flowers & shrubs, which is extra work. The grass turns brown & brittle and you feel like you're going to smother from the heat. I really hate August.
