Looks like there won't be any neato extras, like sponsor openings or cast commercials

Looks like all they did was take the existing DVDs and put them into one package. :( It's a good deal for someone who doesn't already have the DVDs though.

Too bad they didn't come out with this sooner. I think I have almost all the seasons except for one.

The UK complete set got a bonus disk with extras I believe hosted by Erin Murphy. You would think they would at least put that on the R1 complete set.

Leftover Bewitched DVDs from the warehouse bundled up in a cheap packaging....perfect for the holidays

Pity we could've had a proper remaster of Season 5.

I don't understand why the UK and Japan got that extra bonus disk, (of course in different regions) and North America doesn't. Especially since its an American TV series. Makes no sense at all!

Hey, on Amazon there's a review of this complete series and the writer says......."what we don't get as fans are 3 episodes that were actually shot with one airing on ABC, but pulled out of the syndication package because of the story content. I for one was hoping that when the entire series was released in one DVD set those shows would finally make the light of day, but alas it wasn't to be so."

This is news to me, what is this guy talking about? I don't know which episodes he refers to.

There are no "lost" episodes. The reviewer you are speaking of mostly just cut-and-pastes info found on Wikipedia and uses that for his so-called "reviews" on Amazon; then he uses a second account to rate his own reviews. Ignore it--this person obviously has too much time on his hands.

Something you might want to know about these compact complete series sets, I bought Sony's Charlie's Angels Complete Series and I opened it up, thinking each season would be in separate cases. It turned out all the dvds are stacked onto 2 plastic spindles, with no protection. I imagine Bewitched will be the same way.

Bingo, McGillicuddy! I bought the complete series and you open it in the middle - cheap packaging - and voila!.....seasons 1-4 on one cheap plastic spindle and seasons 5-8 on the next spindle. I have some old blank CD spindles from back in the day, at least they're more sturdy, so I put all of them onto that but I need to find something to store them in to keep them from laying on top of one another. :(

Other than that, you can't beat the price to get the series for about $40 + shipping.

I was at Costco this week and they had the Bewitched, Jeannie and Partridge sets for $27.99 each as well as The Munsters for $26.79.
