His first appearance was when James slammed the door in his face

Then his second appearance he comes in the door offering the james some tickets?

Shouldn't have a episode in between that? lol Maybe they were cool off camera

Yeah, he was the same friend who arrested Dan in the episode where Dan beats up Fisher.

The actor who played Larry appeared in two Roseanne episodes, but it was not the one where Fisher beat up Jackie. He appeared as Gil in the episode where the bike shop bellies up. He and his partner are Dan's friends and Dan asks them to go pull over the guy who just burned Dan out of motorcycle sale. He also appeared in the episode where uptight neighbor, Kathy Bowman, is pissed because her house was robbed. He shows up as the cop taking the report and then Jackie walks in and hugs him. She knows him from her days working as cop.

The two cops who arrested Dan in the Fisher episode were two white actors.

Something I also noticed about the name Larry used on Good Times, is the writers used it for another character: the kid whose hearing was not good and he almost fell in the elevator.
