JamesG 07-12-2013, 05:59 PM Lindsay Lohan to do Reality Series, Oprah Interview Post-Rehab

by Sadie Gennis
Lindsay Lohan has agreed to do both a sit-down interview with Oprah Winfrey and a reality show for OWN after she leaves rehab in August, TVGuide.com has confirmed.
"OWN will air an exclusive interview with Oprah and Lindsay Lohan that will tape and air in August and an eight-part documentary series with Lindsay for 2014," a spokesperson for the network said. The docu-series will follow LiLo as she tries to stay healthy and make a career comeback (though how she'll top Liz & Dick, no one knows).
Lohan, whose new film The Canyons hits theaters next month, is currently serving a court-ordered 90 days in rehab. Lohan has previously refused any reality show offers, including rejecting "Dancing with the Stars" in January, but it seems that the actress has finally given in.
Because really, when it comes down to it, is a reality show stooping any lower than sleeping with Charlie Sheen? Twice?
Entertainment Weekly was the first to report the news.

JamesG 07-26-2013, 03:54 PM Lindsay Lohan on OWN: Executives Talk Documentary-Style Lohan Series
by ALICIA RANCILIO
07/25/13
The upcoming Lindsay Lohan series on OWN will be more documentary than reality show.
OWN and Harpo Studios Presidents Erik Logan and Sheri Salata told journalists Thursday attending the annual Television Critics Association press tour that filmmaker Amy Rice will direct the series.
Rice directed the 2009 documentary By the People: The Election of Barack Obama. The series will be produced by Pilgrim Studios and Winfrey will appear on the show.
In an one-on-one interview with The Associated Press, Logan expanded on plans for the show saying, "part of what makes this opportunity very exciting is because I don't think it's gonna be anything that anybody expects."
Logan said Winfrey is currently on vacation and with Lohan still in rehab the direction of the series will unfold once the two begin talking.
The partnership will begin with an exclusive interview to tape and air in August, followed by an eight-part series slated to air in 2014.
As for reports of a $2 million dollar deal for Lohan to agree to do the show, Logan and Salata would not comment.
"We don't comment on any of the deals that we have with any of our partners through any of our contracts," said Logan.
"Those are all confidential and proprietary. We have a great partner with Lindsay's manager and her team. They've been very collaborative and I think they're all aligned with potentially what we want to accomplish so we're excited about getting to work about it."

Ready for the confessions of an adult drama queen? Lindsay Lohan’s reality show is almost here, and the first promo photo for the project has arrived.
The pretty pic shows Lohan striking a modeling pose — super candid this is not. The good news? She’s got red-ish hair in the shot; we all know things are better when she’s a redhead.
The eight-part OWN reality show, "Lindsay", will follow the 27-year-old as she focuses on her recovery after her sixth stint in rehab this past summer. It premieres March 9th.

JamesG 03-10-2014, 10:11 PM Lindsay Lohan's Reality Show Gets Modest Ratings
by James Hibberd
Mar 10, 2014
Lindsay is no Lance. The series premiere of Lindsay Lohan’s reality show on OWN delivered only 693,000 viewers Sunday night.
Though that’s higher than the network’s average in the slot, the debut of "Lindsay" is down from Lohan’s post-rehab interview on "Oprah’s Next Chapter" last fall, which averaged 892,000 viewers. And both were down hugely from Oprah Winfrey’s previous high-profile celebrity interviews.
For instance, OWN’s Lance Armstrong interview delivered 3.2 million viewers last year and its interview with surviving members of Whitney Houston’s family drew 3.5 million viewers two years ago.
Critics called the show surprisingly tame. Guess TV viewers are just not all that interested in Li-Lo drama anymore?

Janice 03-23-2014, 04:39 PM I've been watching it and like it. It's slow for my liking, but I still find it interesting. I'm rooting for her sobriety. It really is a matter of life or death. She seems like a nice enough gal, although on the negative side. The haters are going to hate her, no matter what she does, or doesn't do.

The OWN docu-series "Lindsay" ended its mostly lackluster season documenting Lindsay Lohan's life post-rehab with the actress opening up — and dropping a major bombshell.
On Sunday's episode, the director asked the 27-year-old actress some final questions about her overall experience filming the show. Surprisingly, Lohan revealed that her struggle with filming mid-way through production was because she suffered a miscarriage.
"No one knows this, and we can finish after this. I had a miscarriage for the two weeks that I took off," she said. "It's a very long story. I was sick. And mentally that messes with you. And watching this series, I just know how I felt at that moment, and I can relate to that girl, which sounds kinda crazy. But I'm like, 'Oh my god, this is really sad, who is helping her?'"
Lohan also talked about her leaked list of sex partners, which she first commented on during last week's "Watch What Happens Live".
"You know that list that came out, that was part of my Betty Ford — it's step No. 5 or step No. 8 — it's your sexual inventory, and that was in my Betty Ford book, so that was really personal to my sponsor. You write that for your sponsor," she said.
"So someone took a photo of the list, and I'm pretty sure I know who it is, unfortunately, and they're not a part of my life at all anymore... That's something sacred to me, that's something that I trusted with people that were in my life. That's not something I'd show anyone, besides my sponsor, who is also a very well-known person. The fact that that happened was not only humiliating, but just mean."
