She was gorgeous, talented and well-liked by all who knew and worked with her.
She shocked both her fans and the industry by giving it all up to marry Dan Aykroyd of all people.

Yeah, you're right, looks can only get you so far. At the end of the day, you have to actually have the chops in order to make it in any form of entertainment.
