Ion Acquires "White Collar"

Ion announced that it has acquired veteran USA Network series "White Collar".
The acquisition of the one-hour drama brings the network's off-cable slate to five, joining "Psych", "Leverage", "Monk" and the recently acquired "Burn Notice".
Other shows in Ion's lineup include "Criminal Minds", "Cold Case", "House" and "Law & Order: Criminal Intent".
Brandon Burgess, chairman and CEO of ION Media Networks, said of the pickup:
“White Collar has the creative quality and originality we look for to serve smart and engaged audiences with our ‘Positively Entertaining’ brand promise. And strategically, we are making a concerted bet on top-performing, high-quality, off-cable shows balancing our strong broadcast series portfolio.”
"White Collar" returns for its fifth season this fall on USA.
It is the top-rated scripted cable series on its respective night among adults 25-54.
