I mean, one can only play season one so many times, y'know!

I wish the season one DVD set had sold enough to spur Warner Bros to release the rest of the series on DVD. Hell, I'd even buy the fourth season if they'd give 'em all official releases.

Too bad Warner Archive can't release them as pressed-on-demand discs. I know they'd probably end up being DVD-Rs, but at least we'd have a decent quality version on the market, even if it did cost a little more.

I bought Season 1 when it came out. I'm ready to buy Season 2.

I don't know what the holdup is.

They had a cast reunion with Travolta in 2011. (Though minus Palillo).
And in 2012 two cast members passed away in 2012 (Hegyes and Palillo).

Come on people!

I can't even complete this series like I can do with

George Lopez
Jeffersons
Rhoda

Because it's not airing anywhere on cable or digital tv

I have not watched the season 1 DVD in about 5 years

I'm tempted at this point to look into a bootleg set for the remaining seasons. It looks unlikely that WB will be putting out the remaining seasons on DVD, so I may have to explore that option.

You should get the bootleg set that came out a few years ago. Nearly all the episodes from Season 4 are uncut and most of the episodes from Seasons 2 and 3 are almost 24 minutes long. Better than nothing.

I'm surprised Season 1 didn't sell well since it was easily the best season of the series, IMO.

You damm right it's better than nothing:lol:

The Jeffersons had no more releases after season 6 and I recorded all the edited eps from season 7 to season 11 from TV One.

So it's better than not having the series complete at all. Wish i get the option to do that with WBK one day

Yeah I mean not for nothing, but season two was the show's highest rated and funniest.I also would very much love to see the George Carlin episode again.Maybe I can do without the rather pathetic fourth year.

Hopefully in 2014, I'd settle for a Warner archive set

Thank goodness for the Warner archive! If it weren't for the archive we wouldn't have "Alice", "Flo", "Eight is Enough", "Growing Pains" season 3, and "Night Court" seasons 4-9....and more.

Hopefully they will consider releasing the remaing seasons of WBK along with finishing off these series:

The Drew Carey Show (highly unlikely but one can hope)
Murphy Brown (evil music rights--maybe TimeLife will release it)
Perfect Stranges (I'm not sure what the hold up is on this one unless it's the music)
Step by Step (I don't think we'll ever see a retail release of this--the archive or TimeLife seems to be the only hope at this time)
