Ruben Studdard Joins "The Biggest Loser"

Ruben Studdard has joined the cast of "The Biggest Loser". The "American Idol" Season 2 winner will compete on the NBC weight-loss series this fall.

The Huffington Post has confirmed that Studdard will participate in the 15th season of "The Biggest Loser" set to launch on Tuesday, October 8 at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.



People first reported his casting.

"I've never had an issue with my weight," People quotes Studdard as saying. "But my family has a history of high blood pressure, diabetes, heart-related issues – things I didn't have to deal with yet because I'm young. But I don't want to be worried at 40, and if I don't fix things now, I will be."

He cheated in the American Idol Season 2 finale!

He should have been put in third place instead and the Season 2 top 2 finalists should have been both Kimberley Locke and Clay Aiken. This would have result in Clay Aiken the winner and Kimberley Locke the runner-up. I know it is too late to change history, but please do not disagree with me at all!
